Currently, on ABC TV and ABC iView there are two series running called ‘My Year Seven Life’ and ‘Surviving School: My Year 7 Life’. These programs explore the experiences of parents and students as they transition from primary school to secondary school. Watching these series may be helpful with developing an understanding of the differences between secondary and primary school and may also serve as a great discussion starter with your child about this process and any concerns they may have about this transition. Further information about the transition process can be found here. If you have any further questions ask your child’s teacher. (Please note that the exact process may change depending on DEECD regional office requirements.) Regards, Tim Hello Everyone,
Welcome back for another school year. The students have made a great start to the year so far. They have been participating in our 'Start Up' program which is about getting to know fellow students, class routines and the school's rights and responsibilities. Regards, Tim |
